Musical talent is hereditary
Since I started my teaching career, I remember that, confronted by people who are interested in learning how a musical instrument, which should answer a question for centuries.
Music theory, the reserve
I have always admired the traditional African conflict. I am not a battery expert, but I had the chance to study with great people in many places, including Brazil, Uruguay, Senegal and Guinea-Bissau. These experiences have influenced me a lot as a person and as a musician, I went to these countries, innocently enough, just try to learn some cool drum rhythms. But what I eventually learned was a totally different way to relate to music, and other value system. The music used for other purposes in these areas, I think it serves a good cause. Its function is not to entertain or impress others and heal their past with them and with nature.
