Technical Overview
Preparation time is essential
The impact of David's presentation is quality sound, bright images, lots of demonstrations and a fast moving presentation.
For Educational Talks
Venue: Large class room, school hall, gym, with good black out (curtains etc). Students can be seated on floor, must be able to see slides. DF on raised platform (if possible) visible to all, and have room to dance etc. DF can operate sound control if necessary from front.
Set Up Time - requests an hour's set-up time (if poss.) to check sound levels, all equipment, rehearse etc
Assistance: In the absence of Mrs Fanshawe, can there be 2 people available to help
- for Sound system (good experience for student)
- for computer operation for PHoto CDR (or slide projection) (working from script)
David Fanshawe brings his own:
- Production CD
- Slide carousels (ready loaded) or Photo CD Working scripts
- Video (edited) if required
- Display CDs, music score etc
Essential Equipment
- CD playback & Split stereo speakers - good quality sound
- Projector with strong bulb from Computer or SLide projector
- Large white screen / or white wall, Laser/Magic pointer (if possible)
- Piano /keyboard, Small light or two, Small table / lecturn for DF
- Large table for display, Water plus glass
Optional
- Microphone, (as appropriate for large venue) or Neck mic. (preferably)
- Video playback + TV monitor (optional)
